I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, when all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Immersing in the natural light particular to this geographic region which contributes to all her art works from image making to creating sculptural forms. Her artworks incorporate the visual values and rawness of nature through tones, texture, and spirit.
She seeks to fine the simplicity of symmetry by way of a minimalistic expression. In Secondary school became interested in the works of Pablo Picasso,espcialley Guernica,as realizing the power of a voice and image making could be merged in expression.
After working in various jobs for several years in London, she obtained a place at Kingston Apon Thames Sculpture Department, Where in 1991 she graduated with a first class honours degree. Was awarded several awards and grants including a Public Art Award for a stone sculpture at an International Symposium in France in 1999,Sculpture award in 1994 from “An Oireachtas”.Bursary award from the arts council 1994.Irish concrete Society Sculpture award 1992.Glebe gallery Sculpture Award 2003.Bursary Award Camden art Centre 1986-87.
