Marcelle Mansour is an academic visionary fine artist, bilingual author, poet, Ambassador of Art, Peace Ambassador and multi-award-winning artist. A thought leader in art whose purpose is to find hope toward advancing humanity and reshaping reality. She received both a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and a Master of Studio Arts (MSA) from the University of Sydney in Australia and previously a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language & Literature from Ain Shams University, Cairo in Egypt. She began her artistic journey in early childhood, a talent that led her to be awarded multiple top art prizes by the Department of Education during her formative years. Marcelle’s passion for art drove her to create memorable paintings, her impetus desire for creating art became compelling to reflect on significant subjects, to narrate stories, to stimulate and inspire viewers. Her art spans from figurative art to abstract, digital art and light art in a distinctive style. She demonstrates a unique versatility through her work using innovative technologies, whilst balancing traditional and contemporary insights. Her art serves as a reflection of her soul, her memories and connection to the world, emphasizing human experiences, resilience, and hope while seeking positive social change.
Marcelle Mansour exhibited in Biennales including The Florence Biennale 2021 in Italy and major international art exhibitions including Art Fair at Complex Du Louvre Paris 2022 and Art Expo New York 2025. Her work is acknowledged as one of the Contemporary World’s Masters and featured in international art volumes including Artisti’23, “Masters of Art 21st Century 2025” and Atlas of Contemporary Art 2025/26. She is renowned for her innovative approach to creating masterpieces in Digital Painting and Light Painting. Through color, form, and layered symbolism, her art represents a rich vibrant tapestry of visual narratives that merge tradition with modernity. Marcelle’s exhibitions of Shifting Waves and Treasure Forever for prominent Australians gained her popularity in portraiture, and some were published in her book of Shifting Waves. Her Threshold’s exhibition of Light and Perception contributed to UNESCO International Year of Light (IYL) in Australia, earning her the Ambassador of Peace Award. She received numerous international art prizes including First Prize in Budapest Juried Art Competition. The Premier Artist Prize, an Honorary Presidential Award from her Motherland and the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the Queen’s Birthday Honors.
She is a Certified Artist by the Museum of the Americas in Miami and Side Arts in Philadelphia. She is an Honorary Member in the Museum of Americas, Miami, Honorary and Associate Supporting Member of Association Academy of Italy in Art in the World. Her work is a permanent collection in the Museum of the Americas in Miami and Espace Vision’ Art gallery in Paris. Her art is listed in Dubai Registry and the Worldwide Encyclopedia of Contemporary Art.
Marcelle Mansour is an Australian of Palestinian Christian heritage, through her art including many self-portraits she finds her connection to the world reflecting on her identity and universal topics aiming for hope and peace.
