Yohahn Diko is a South Korean-born contemporary artist, recognized internationally and honored with the Excellence Award at the Busan International Art Fair (BIAF).
His acclaimed Stream of Consciousness series emerged from 35 years of living with severe depression, bipolar disorder, and panic disorder. Experiencing mental shifts with each change of medication, he developed a visual language exploring transformation and the balance between chaos and harmony.
Beginning his artistic journey in Seoul before age ten, and later spending over two decades in the U.S. managing a prominent law firm before fully dedicating himself to art, Diko is known for bold colors, layered textures, and symbolic depth. His works often merge metallic acrylics with oil paints, blending Korean sensibilities with universal narratives, and have been exhibited in Korea, the U.S.,Europe, China, and beyond.
