Daniela Guevska, a Bulgarian-Maltese visual artist and educator, seamlessly blends classical drawing, abstract painting, collage, and decorative techniques to explore postmodern realities. Based between Malta and Bulgaria, her work is deeply influenced by her heritage, featuring handmade paper collages inspired by folklore and the reinterpretation of communist-era monumental art. She also addresses environmental concerns through sustainable fashion installations made from recycled materials. As a lecturer at the American University of Malta, Malta School of Art, and the Institute of Education, she shares her love for art and fosters dialogue between past and present, embodying the commitment to creativity, cultural heritage, and social consciousness.
