Niloufar Fallahfar is an Iranian artist currently pursuing her MFA in Studio Art at Michigan State University. She explores themes of identity and socio-political challenges, especially in relation to the Woman, Life, Freedom movement in Iran. Her work merges sculptural elements with painting, reflecting her deep interest in the narrative possibilities within art. Fallahfar’s artistic practice delves into abstract yet figurative forms, symbolizing cultural resistance and personal stories.
She has exhibited her work in reputable national and international venues, including solo exhibitions at Gallery 101 at Michigan State University and Bevan Gallery in Tehran, Iran. Her paintings were recently chosen for inclusion in the Art in the Legislature Program at Michigan’s Capitol, and in 2025 she was selected as an exhibiting artist at ArtPrize at DeVos Place Convention Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Additionally, Fallahfar’s work has been showcased in Paris and recognized for its innovative approach at various art festivals in Iran.
