Born in Moscow in 1965 in scientists' family.

State Course of fine art, sewing and constructing, 1980-1982.

Graduated from Fashion Laboratory by Slava Zaitsev in Moscow, Russia, in 2013 and Scuola di Ricamo Alta Moda in Rome, Italy, in 2023.

Winner of few international contests in Russia and France, participant of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, Moscow Fashion Week, The Box in Paris, numerous art exhibitions in Russia, UAE, France, Italy.

Creator and owner of Zabegina niche brand. Visit card of Zabegina is handmade elegant silk scarves and “Horse” theme in design of art pieces, clothes and accessories. The story of Ekaterina’s professional life has deep roots in equestrian industry, therefore the image of a horse is present in all creations. Working with different textures and techniques: batik, embroidery, knitting, collages.

Since 2011 - official partner of art boutiques at Dubai Racing Club, UAE.
