Growing up as the son of Brazilian natives on the Amazon in the town of Manuel Urbano, Acre, I have an intense relationship with nature.
The rainforest with its abundant colors and sounds, nature in its almost lavish abundance, animals, metre-thick anacondas, giant spiders in bright colors, fish from the Amazon - all of this is reflected in the exuberant colors and dynamism of my paintings and shaped me When I left the Indian village at a young age to go my own way - internalizing the deep-rooted traditions of my origins and making them visible from the outside.
My creative energy is as limitless and lush as the nature in my homeland. By foregoing everything figurative, I try to create worlds and appearances that develop an inexhaustible and almost extravagant variety on the canvas.
I often work like a man possessed: If I don't have a canvas to hand, I paint wood, leather or even a disused election poster. Wallpapers and wallpaper patterns also became the basis for my designs.
My works of art are not created overnight, but often over weeks and months of work. The work is often interrupted to let the work of art speak for itself and then continued.
After I was able to settle in Germany in 2006, I attended various art seminars and art classes and was quickly able to exhibit and sell my first works.
Since then, numerous exhibitions have followed in my new hometown of Nuremberg as well as in Erlangen, Berlin, Paris, Montreux, Helsinki, New York and much more.
Since 2018 I have been living and working in my studio in Nuremberg in the Maxfeld district.
During the Corona pandemic, I set up my own Online-Shop and, in addition to my artwork on canvas, I also worked on making my art shine not only on canvas, but also on clothing and accessories.
The first small series of clothing items was released in 2023 and I'm already working on my next collection.
