I am a mature student of fine art at the University of Derby following in the footsteps of my mother who was their oldest graduate at age 82! 

I study part time and work part time as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. I am married with three wonderful adult daughters. 

I had the amazing opportunity of experiencing living abroad for 25 years in Thailand, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. 

I started painting ten years ago and partly because of the experience of living as an expatriate I have become fascinated by how we make a home wherever we are. This includes hoe we become sentimental about everyday domestic objects that can connect us to a time, place or person in our lives.
