My name is Ana Catarina Correia, I am 31 years old, I was born in Lisbon and I have a degree in Sociocultural Animation. I work with the elderly in a day center, where I carry out activities with them to stimulate their skills and promote a healthy lifestyle. Art is part of my daily life because it is a tool for this work, and very important for this audience.

Although I have no training in Arts, it has always been an area of ​​great interest. In 2020, I started creating works using various techniques: face painting, drawing, painting and sculpture. My style of art is greatly influenced by Frida Kahlo for the way she expressed her feelings and raw experiences on the canvas. And also Vicent Van Gogh for is style of painting and colorful colors.

I recently created a project related to different types of love and how they can be represented with different anatomical hearts.

My main goal in the art world is to create pieces with texture, which can be felt (touched, smelled, heard) by the public and stimulate conversations.
