Purple Chang is a Taiwanese-born artist based in Brisbane. She began painting in 2012 and is self-taught. Her still life works explore poetic ways of seeing, drawing from memory, symbolism, and everyday objects. She was a finalist in the Lethbridge 20000 (2024) and won the Salon des Refusés Prize (2021 & 2022), hosted by the Royal Queensland Art Society. She has also participated in fundraising exhibitions in Taiwan.
