Rebecca Bujnowski (*1990) lives and works as a freelance artist in Bottrop, Germany.
After studying art history and archeology at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, she gained her first experiences in an Italian gallery. Since 2015, she has been devoting herself to her artistic practice, with a focus on ceramic and sculptural works.
Her works are characterized by the examination of abstract forms and the play between statics and dynamics. Since 2020, she has had her studio with a kiln in which she primarily develops sculptural and relief-like works.
In addition to her artistic work, she is also active in art education. It cooperates with schools, museums, and municipal institutions and develops projects for children, young people, and adults. Examples include projects as part of programs such as “Culture and School” and “Artists in Daycare”.
Since 2022, Rebecca Bujnowski has been regularly represented in group and solo exhibitions, including in the Josef Albers Museum in Bottrop. In 2023, she was selected for a solo presentation as part of the annual exhibition of Bottrop artists and had her first solo exhibition, “abstract circles” in Quadrat, Bottrop, from November 2024 to January 2025.
