Ariel Lin, both an artist and illustrator, has put her enthusiasm and passion into creating impressive and fantastic artworks more than five years. In December 2014, Ariel created her first black-and-white illustrated book, "The Child in A Woman", which describes how a sleeping child in an office-woman longs for being free to go out of the woman's body to "wander in the sky". Its symbolism is the "inner child" that lives in all of the human beings that wish to live freely without any boundaries. In November 2015, about a year later, Ariel Lin created her second illustrated book, "My Restless Forest". The story begins with a big seed, and a yellow, restless small seed that could not live peacefully with the big seed. Throughout the story, Ariel explored an inner spiritual monologue between peace and anxiety, love and indifference, innocence and maturity with exquisite ink pen and watercolor. In April 2016, Ariel had her first quick-painting watercolor exhibition in Wanghour studio in Taipei, Taiwan. In August 2016, Ariel’s artwork, “Love, Joy, Peace” won an award of 2016 Juming Museum’s Art Corridor’s exhibition, “Love-Forward” in Taipei, Taiwan. Ariel created her first outdoor wall-painting, “Love, Joy, Peace” for the museum.Ariel loves creating art and illustration. She wishes her artworks and illustration can give viewers an inner-look into their soul and spirit to remind them of their true-loving-self. She believes that art and illustration can give beauty and love to the whole world. Ariel lives in Banqiao, New Taipei City, Taiwan with her parents.
