Warrior: Part of a series, "Metamorphosis". Skin rotting, revealing new flesh.

I began imagining how racism has shaped me and mutilated my soul, since I was an eight year old child.

I am very curious and am fascinated by how trauma changes the structures of our brains, and I began to wonder what that would look like if our outsides changed as well?

I pushed my imagination to what it would look like if all Black Americans began a metamorphosis, skin rotting, falling off , and underneath tough but vibrant skin revealed, offering new powers!
