VACUUM/KENO:
A man and a woman.
A woman trapped in her silence, or not?
A human trapped in oneself?
What will be the outcome?
The title ΚΕΝΟ:\ VACUUM is inspired by one definition of the word: approached as «emptiness» which can be the result of the loss or disappearance of something. This «something» may be the soul and emotions of a person, missing from a set (a relationship) and could be treated as the result of a catastrophe. This eventually leads the person to finally disconnect from the reality of things and an internal struggle begins, in the attempt of finding the personal path again.

The exhibition, ARt-Performance with the help of cinematic narrative (short film) visualizes this struggle.
The film KENO:\Vacuum with the photographic series of the same name as well as the Digital ARt-Performance is the first complete work of Efi Hasioti (IG:effie.h) that unites photography, film and performance to tell a story that we all, perhaps, have experienced within ourselves.
KENO:\VACUUM traveled attracting attention to short film festivals, in Berlin, “Honorable Mention-Best Experimental Film 2022” (ARFF Berlin Around Films/International Film Festival), in Los Angeles “Official Selection Best Experimental” (LA Independent Women Film Awards 2022) & "Finalist-Best Experimental" (Independent Shorts Awards 2022/International Film Festival), in the United Kingdom "Official Selection Best Experimental" LIFT-OFF GLOBAL NETWORK SESSIONS 2023) but also in India "Official Selection Best Short (kalakari film festival 2023).
