This painting is part of the same series as "WAR," a series
I have named "Irreparable." Some headless armed mannequins
are controlled by others with rough bodies and bronze faces,
directing the prisoners toward rusted metal cages. The prisoners are
white in color, with the mannequin in the foreground illuminated and
slightly out of perspective (larger in scale), similar to Goya's "The
Third of May 1808." The rest of the scene consists of a ground
of stones and puddles, with a black background, symbolizing the hate
between peoples.
