This stage
project transports the audience into a utopian and dreamlike world, offering a
sensory and intellectual experience that challenges conventions and feeds on
philosophical abstraction.
At the center of the stage emerges the figure of the protagonist, the philosopher, portrayed as a sculpture with an elongated head
and two wandering eyes, in search of the very essence of philosophical thought: a complex construction of ideas and concepts intertwined in an intellectual labyrinth.
The presence of figures, silhouettes of bodies in motion,
dancing in the darkness at the back of the stage, accompanied by trails of
incandescent neon light, serves as a counterpoint to the other lights: halogen,
LED, dichroic, and fluorescent, creating a magical and surreal atmosphere. It's
as if thought itself is taking shape and coming to life. These figures
represent inner exploration and the enlightenment that philosophy can bring to
the depths of human mystery. To the right and left of the stage, other entities
resembling elongated clouds descend downward, with a crystal sphere at the
center of one of them. They are silent, detached, and somewhat lost: abstract,
otherworldly entities. They symbolize the world of fantasy and imagination,
exploring the relationship between man and the divine.
These clouds pay direct homage to Aristotle's metaphor of the
"Clouds," symbolizing the quest for truth and the continuous process
of intellectual exploration. Their lightness and fluidity contrast with the
solidity and abstraction of the philosopher's sculpture, creating a dynamic
balance between the concrete and the ephemeral.
