Places are experienced - real and digital. What remains is a memory of this place, in which what has been experienced is combined into a very individual portrait, abstracted and summarized to the essential. It is about bringing order to the sensory flood and mobilizing an efficient use of human energy so that the perception of our outside world is not too exhausting.
The decontextualized is reconstructed in the abstraction. Color and form become language and function as narrative codes. Transparencies, superimpositions, power and fragility become accomplices that visualize the experienced reality. A process is to be set in motion that is intended to motivate the viewer to access these emotional-cognitive and psychological portraits of places personally. Only with this process of the recipient is the work completed.
