My bath is my judgement and stress free spot. When I feel overwhelmed or sad I can just run the bath with hot water, turn a candle on, pour fragrant oils or drop a bath bomb. I can float in the water and relax for hours I like to think that when I jump in, I can dilute myself leaving my worries and negative thoughts in the water, washing off all my insecurities and stress.
Sometimes I am so relaxed I fall asleep, the picture was taken by my husband when he came to check on me and bring me a hot cup of tea, looking at it I look so peaceful but also vulnerable so I chose it as a motif for this painting.
