At the beginning of the pandemic, the artist noticed an emergence of symmetry in her lexicon of imagery. It brought her to explore how symmetric images affect the mind and suggest stability and safety. The artist's method of painting is accidental and organic; hence she created symmetry by mirroring the image of her painting digitally. This resulted in an intricate and mesmerising pattern.
The image is printed on Dibond and embellished with transparent enamel the same way the original painting is created, covering the entire surface cell-by-cell. This meticulous process that takes a long time to accomplish gives shape to a unique cellular texture.
