Aranea Rosa is part of a collection of digital plants within the Digital Garden Project. Utilizing digital tools as a creative medium, I explore an alternative approach to nature’s evolution, mimicking its incredible diversity of shapes, colors, and complexity. I aim to present a different vision of its evolution that corresponds to our human concept of life as a dynamic and expressive entity capable of sensing emotions and feelings through motion. While often categorizing plants as semi-living or in a vegetative state, we may dismiss the idea of them having feelings because of their lack of movement. This leads us to question whether plants truly experience life with emotions.
