As the vividly colored images unfold one after another, as if inducing a tripped-out state, the full picture gradually emerges.
This work is a landscape shot with the focus blurred to the maximum extent possible and environmental sounds recorded at the site, which were excessively modified and processed using editing software.
Nowadays, everyone has easy access to cameras, microphones, and software adjustment and correction functions, and we all benefit from them to no small extent. However, we are rarely conscious of the technology itself.
This work is an attempt to replace the figure and ground of the image by foregrounding the processing and computation of such devices and software.
By excessively modifying the blurred, pale image with color tones and filters, the pixels and noise that emerge, as well as the intense colors that lack a sense of reality, bring up the existence behind our perception through technology, and at the same time, encourage us to see the known world in a new way.
