'Ultimum Silvam' portrays the disjunction between desire, hope and harsh reality.
The enduring themes of female disempowerment and the destruction of the environment continues to reflect a society shaped by the cultural and societal movements that surround it.
Poem
Multiple dimensions tightly curled within us,
Hidden and unknown,
Half heard with a whisper,
Between the earth & the trees
Peculiar facets of what we perceive,
On the far side of visible,
Particles drift,
Through time, sift
Unfathomable possibilities,
Born into play
Beyond, divergent from our own,
Imperceptible to our senses
Peering back through time,
Through histories unknown,
Primordial strangeness
Branching outward infinities
Our vacuum,
Our tininess expands to alternative spaces,
Dreaming disruptions,
Our fathomed world.
