Originally this work was written as an immersive exhibition-experience where a visitor could go through tactile-sound-visual simulated situations. The artist puts you in a child's 'shoes' to remind that children can see and hear and feel everything and that they see the world the way we show it to them.
Child's perception of the world is very simple, he takes it as he sees it. That's why it is so important to create a beautiful world around our young ones.
The artist transports the viewer into a possible stressful situation in which millions of children around the world find themselves every day, regardless of nationality or financial situation. She sees this social problem as a root of all our sorrows.
Today's child is tomorrow's ruler.
As in current world's situation the artist couldn't find appropriate solution to execute this project a short video was made.
However, the installation itself meant to be made of 5 curtains (different texture and colour), hanging from the ceiling in a tube shape. Visitor can step inside the curtain and being surrounded by it will listen to a sound-simulated situation. The visitor should get a feeling of a child who is trying to hide in a curtain from cruelty of the outer world but this protection is illusive and the mind is affected.
