THE RANSOM OF PEACE (IL RISCATTO DELLA PACE) With this short film of mine "The ransom of peace" interpreted and co-produced by the actress Mariella Sapienza I wanted to denounce modern humanity, highlighting the traits that the great Pasolini already observed and reported in various poetic, pictorial and cinematographic works.
I propose my thought combined with that of Maestro Pasolini, in a modern transfiguration starting from the poignant but very topical Pasolini phrase "I wonder what mothers you had!"
Peace, like all other great ideals, must be redeemed and redemptions cost a lot, require great commitment, hope is banished! "Conscience" like a Madonna, appears in the midst of anesthetized, blind and indifferent humanity and urges it to awaken.
She brings them gathered around the "PEACE" played by Walter Profilo that is in a cage, nearby are the LONELY CHILDREN who are sad, dull and angry because they no longer have angels to listen to and adults to play with and grow with wisdom.
There is here my metaphysical vision of her that smells all of love and reminds him of the forgotten and no longer practiced verbs, necessary to restore humanity to ethical and moral order and to make it breathe the great ideals that can make it free and joyful !
With this slightly over the top work of mine, I like to propose "Conscience", "Peace" and "Love" played by Pancrazio Arnesano in a visionary way as if they were three Fashion & Cool Icons, POP STARS to praise.
