I produce a three-minute video. Each of the different visual images – the scene of the construction area, the scene of playing piano and the scene in which I breathe – all have individual sounds. Through the reduced listening mode introduced by Pierre Schaeffer, I want to experiment using the minimal features (speed and tone) of each sound in these scenes to see if it is possible to mix them naturally and without awkwardness when the sounds have similar speeds and heights in different screens. How would the impression of the noise change when it exists with completely different sounds in a completely different sense? Also, will this unexpected scene featuring the noise make people feel better? Or will the noise sound still affect people, making them still feel uncomfortable, even with the new face of the scene?
