There are crucial moments in our biography. The crossroads of a choice: Aut - Aut. Undergoing senseless psychological violence, the possibility of 'Evil' becomes apparent in history. A worldview governed by human and religious relationships founded on the 'Common Good: Love' collapses. The situation evokes the sanhedrin of Jesus' life. The title is a reference to it and to a graphic play on choice. The video performance seeks catharsis and ataraxia. The audio video composition reflects the urgency. On the body, with lipstick, I wrote a date. The lipstick relates to the mouth and its sensuality. It refers to the persuasive and violent phrases spoken: words made up of Love. The "1|8", a sign of emotional laceration, is written on the skin. The mirror montage with reverse time places the word "leave" in a double light. The red sign is the wound left behind. It is, in a mocking way, the bequest. But, leaving in the video, also becomes caressing, caring, purifying passions for peace. The slow motion gives this delicate and lyrical touch, to highlight the intimate movement of being a soul. The 'I' on the left, fading into red, expresses the
ambivalent of sacrifice, both revenge and the body of love. The sign fades and spreads as a warm, heartening colour. The 'I' on the right, as a surgeon, albeit with pain, heals wounds. The body, in reverse time, purifies itself, in white space. The body on the left, simultaneously, turns red. It is rebirth. Body and soul are in unison. The writing one reads, scanned by a typewriter, or something that presses and marks, is a small variation of a sentence by Kierkegaard in "Aut-Aut". The materiality of the font is used within the Symbolic writing of the body. The mark, from lipstick to font, has the consistency of pastel: the abandonment of matter. The 'I' is painted as a fluid event; the colour as a state of the 'I'. The phrase 'Having loved gives Being a Harmony that is never lost in the whole' expresses consolation, strength to act, 'Beingness'. The video communicates the urgency of "Choice".
