When you feel hopeless and helpless, don’t keep the feelings to yourself, let them out and you'll feel better. There are some factors and situations in life that may induce people to have uncomfortable thoughts and feelings, which will be accumulated in the human body. As we replay them over and over again in our mind, we sink deeper and deeper. It unfolds endlessly, like falling into a looping emotional black hole.
The experimental animation work "Release" uses a long shot to present a girl's inner changes, reactions and choices in the face of various external stimuli at various stages of her life. Through the form of sight and hearing, the ideas that interfere with her thoughts, and her emotional feelings are visualized. In the end, the thoughts that made her feel uncomfortable were broken down and transformed gradually, condensing to form a cloudy gas. She opened her mouth and as she did so released this gas, the thoughts that had long brought her fear, anger and sadness.
