"Oliver's Dreams”
This
stop motion project was inspired by my desire to imagine the dreams of my son,
Oliver, when he was a young boy.
Our travels together took us across the globe, and during these journeys, he had to get used to the idea that his mother frequently paused to take pictures and videos (especially of him). I took him on trains, boats, airplanes, and even helicopter and hot air balloon rides. We explored museums and attended concerts. In fact, when he was just five months old, I took him to the Barnum and Bailey circus, exposing him to a symphony of lights, colors, shadows, and music, igniting his sensory exploration of the world. While my sincere hope was to instill in him the profound joy of truly 'seeing' the world, I wonder if I overwhelmed him with experiences.
Oliver, now 23, continues to share my love for travel. He has blossomed into an imaginative and adventurous individual."
