Each of these images is a frame from a video landscape dedicated to one of the states of nature and weather.
Music specially for each video was written by my brother, Yuri Bulavin.
Shooting principles:
-
The frame should be photographic, and movement should decorate it. If
the frame is not interesting as a picture, it does not suit.
-
Decentralization: there is no main subject of shooting. Shoot not
specific sights, but moods and states. Look for uniform, archetypal
landscapes.
- Drone instead of crane: Fly as close to objects as possible for depth perspective. Do not fly unnecessarily high and far.
-
Poetisation: the shot should acquire symbolism and artistry, not
documentary. If the shot looks like National Geographic, it doesn't
suit.
