'Incendo Silvarum' portrays the disjunction between desire, hope and harsh reality.
The enduring themes of female disempowerment and the destruction of the environment continues to reflect a society shaped by the cultural and societal movements that surround it.
Where there is light and shadows,
Where there is silence and cries,
Where there is presences and omissions,
Where the body is incomplete and fragmented.
Where the self is repeatedly assaulted and wounded,
Where the lost or fallen identity cannot be found,
Where darkness, shadow and turbulence, bring light to loss,
Where blindness and the unseen bring forth remnants of the past.
Where emptiness of both the landscape and ourselves are forsaken when we forsake.
