By employing sound, I wish to reintroduce the dimension of profound temporality in my works, considering it
an elevated stimulus that steps outside the visual realm. Approaching this from a shamanic and ritualistic
perspective, I create a body of rhythms that incorporates and records my own breathing, alongside the
creation of ceremonial chants and experimental music. The function of sound is to create an immersive
space whereby the repetition emphasizes the primal ritualistic elements. Thus, a new context of perception
emerges, surfacing out the visceral component.
