"ACCESS DENIED." is an open project.
It is comprised of a series of film installations based on everyday objects.
Each film is created using a shooting technique combined with a C# program I have specifically
developed for the manipulation of the images. The object portrayed is explored in a meticulous
and detailed way. You will see the entire object appearing out of nothingness and regaining
its shape, and then disappearing again. The uniqueness of this kind of vision is that
there is no front, no back, no sides to the object portrayed, as it opens simultaneously in all
of its aspects before your eyes. You see the entirety of the object at the same time.
When I was working on this project I felt as if I was almost able to enter into the very essence
of the object although I was at the same time facing a wall of individual atoms.
This project deals with the human desire for knowledge. We have thought it possible for us
to understand matter itself, and that we can explain everything but finally we shall always
come to that wall beyond which we may not pass.
This is "Orsetto" film installation. The films must be played in loop.
