“Burj El Hawa” (Tower of Wind), Beirut – Lebanon 2018.The project started as a public art installation that aimed to transform an abandoned tower of bitterness that only served as a reminder of the Lebanese civil war that ended 30 years ago, into a dancing tower spreading positive vibes all around Beirut city center. The project took another dimension of activism art when Solidere (the landlord and company responsible for rebuilding Beirut city center after the war) ordered the dismantling of the installation.
