I am looking for rebels dedicated to their community, braves and prepared for fighting with monsters that come from hell and live among us.
You will be able to identify some of these, beings in yourselves and also within the painting the "Garden of Delights" of Bosco.
I am a witch and always lived with the devil since childhood but I had not given me the opportunity to listen to him.
I am originallyfrom Mexico City and I live near the Tepito neighborhood, where narcotraffic, crime, and violence have always been present.
Now, my family and I live a daily fight against these phenomena, my brother has been seduced by the demons of the neighborhood.
Be careful, because in this background that what you will hear and feel is difficult to understand (it happened to me). But I promise you, you won't be the same as before.
Well, this project began when I sitting down to listen to the devil, (only listening to him) I collected testimonies from his associates and then I transferred them to images that I related to the painting the "Garden of Delights" of Bosco adapted to my context.
Each of these chronic-drawings contains a story related to drug trafficking, crime, violence or some other way of life than not accepted by society.
When I heard those stories, I understood that each one had something in common: the lack of an adequate standard of living.
Each particular case did not have welfare to which the human being is entitled by the simple fact of being born (primary rights described in the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights). After reading them all, I consider that Article 30 involves us all: absolutely no one can perform acts aimed at suppressing any of the rights and freedoms proclaimed in this document. Thanks to this project I have acknowledged my ways of behavior and the consequences they may have with others: the right to doubt.
Article 30
"Nothing in this Declaration may be interpreted to mean that it confers any right on the state, a group or a person, to undertake and develop activities or perform acts aimed at the suppression of any of the rights and freedoms proclaimed in this declaration."
With the intention of connecting different and specific territories the correlation that exists Venice and Mexico City is important for me.
Italy was one of the places to the first mafia groups emerged and I see a connection with my community because today the Mexico City is controlled by these criminal groups, I want to share my experiences for solidarity with other families that are fighting daily versus demons of the Drug trafficking to rescue our children.
The project is painting the three murals with one of the chronic-drawings that I make, like to the ancient custom of the western wall that will be emulated. The habitats introduce small pieces of paper on the walls with the name of our sons are in danger. At the end of Laguna Art, the names in the walls will be collect and display in the gallery to read the names. the intention is giving voice to the troubles of families, habitats or visitors of Venice, Mexico, and the world at the same time create a dialogue with the painting "The Garden of Delights" of "El Bosco".
My motive is evidence of the lack of responsibility of the governors to attain their responsibilities described in article 25 of the declaration of human rights
