I am intrigued by the duality of the word "positive"—how it shifts in meaning depending on context, from something affirmative to something potentially life-altering, as in "HIV-positive." The power of language, especially a single word like "yes," which is often seen as a definitive and empowering response, takes on a more nuanced meaning in this context. This installation delves into how words carry weight, shape perceptions, and influence our understanding of health and identity.
