On the transition between worlds, eco-culture and the skeptical irony of objective visual perception.
The artistic concept positions the whale as a mythical illusory creature. Most of the people living on the earth have never seen whales live, and they are only interested in his image, without reference to physical existence.
The upper part of the sculpture is a water tank with transparent plastic walls. Diameter 350 cm, wall height 20 cm. Mounted on metal beams. A whale with a length of 700 cm is attached to the bottom of the structure. It is made by welding a frame of metal wire with a diameter of 5 mm. The whale and the flat circle into which it dives are pasted over with a white cloth with a black graphic pattern, as on a sketch. Drawing on the fabric is applied manually with black acrylic paint. It is an optical illusion. If you focus on it, there will be a motion effect. Inside the whale, plastic tubes were drawn to the side and lower fins. Water passes through and in thin streams falls into the drainage area. The object can be exhibited as a waterless sculpture and placed by attaching to the ceiling of a large room.
