Welcome Winter Trophy

Our efforts to help the earth cool down (recycling, cleaner energy) are celebrated in this climate change inspired trophy. Winter is encapsulated in bare branches and cool colours. The structure holding the core sculpture suggests the concealment associated with winter, like a thick covering of snow over the earths surface. The branches I collected reminded me of animal horns used in trophies so I'm also referencing this tradition. The core sculpture uses a recycled plastic bottle for its mould.
