The Broken children installation is aimed to share compassion and support to every spectator.
This work appeared to me during my first solo show in Paris. The exhibition we created was extremely personal and each work presented a special problematics or subject. Speaking to my viewers about my works I logically was presenting my traumas too. People then began to share their own traumatic memories with me.
This exhibition made me rethink how we perceive "others" and what we really want from society.
Being an amateur in psychology I know thought that there is no human being without a trauma imported from childhood.
By this installation, I just want to remind us that every person is just a child inside seeking to be understood and accepted. Maybe if we could see this we would be more supportive towards others and could build a more compassionate society.
