Volume #03 is a fabric sculpture part of a larger project called ‘‘trayma’’:

dedicated to the study of the volume of trauma, it investigates the crossing space within which we move to achieve the awakening of our conscience when we decide to cross the ache.
Intrinsic is a sense of peace and absence of spaces as we normally conceive them.
Within our emotional sphere there are no perceptions that we know when we move in physical reality, in fact we give our own assessment of what surrounds us.
To create this work, I explored the spaces and voids of the stones (which I perceive as scars made by time) of the abandoned ruins, in order to be able to connect this volume with the scars on our soul.
The medium that I used for the realization is a fabric of my invention that combines solids and voids through the tension of the stitches that build the weave, therefore the tension between them.
Inside the weave I use natural and regenerated fibers, one of which reacts to heat, so I can sculpt the three-dimensionality using heat.
To obtain this extreme three-dimensionality, no treatments or resins are applied, only yarns.
An application of color from the back, a distinctive technique of mine, ‘‘bleeding, allows me to draw the volumes inside the scars.
