My trompe l'oeil glass sculptures are inspired by Kandinsky's work and his art of concealing a subtle truth behind another too obvious truth. It is a metaphor for life: we look inside the object, we believe we can put our hand inside it, we see two objects when in reality, there is only one. Only glass allows creating this effect since the mass is so transparent it gives an impression of emptiness. The eye wavers between lightness and heaviness, strength and fragility.
