Testo critico

Critical text
The architectures
of pure forms that characterize Anelo1997's works tell us a story, they are
memories that are structured, fixed in grids of cubes and lines and continue to
project themselves around, in dialogue with the observer. The interweaving of
shapes tell us about encounters, relationships, places and wills.
Our stories need
lines, welded points and meeting fences to be fixed in space, therefore in
time, structuring themselves as a multiplication of shapes that follow one
another and stop reproducing only when the meaning is grasped and fixed. It's
easy to let those lines lead you through your memory, pausing in the perfect
enclosures where someone else has also found their meaning in our same time and
in our same space.
Things are
discovered through the memories one has of them. To remember something means to
see it – now only – for the first time.
Memory is a
means of interpreting reality, it gives us the possibility of placing events in
their right position, in order to be able to understand them, give them meaning
and see things with a new look, as if it were the first time. Anelo1997, with
its iron architectures, gives a physical form to this possibility and
transforms it into art.
