“Turning sculpture” is an installation using strings and light to visualise a sculpture that does not exist in the space.
By irradiating a spotlight to the spiral three-dimensional afterimage that appears by rotating the suspended string at high speed, the string captures the light and emerges up the illuminating sculptures in the space.
By changing the irradiation angle and width of the light, the shape of the light captured on the string can be changed freely.
