"Becoming a rhino is a transformation rather than, and beyond, a change. Change can be reversed, one can change again; but transformation is irreversible".This artwork is commentary for totalitarian regime which transforms our relations, behaviors, thoughts to rhinos as a representative for totalitarian attitude, instead of standing as a human.
I am making rhinos as a metaphor of negative transformation refering ‘to the ones mentioned at the theather play ‘rhinos’ written by Eugene Ionescu ,the individual transformed to a rhino is replete with contradictions. A Rhino represents today’s individual behavior as Ionescu said about his anxiety on this subject: “... spreading a sudden thought like an infectious disease. A new religion, a teaching, a fanaticism are driving people ... Did you ever know that you caught your attention, If people no longer share your thoughts, the feeling that you are facing monsters is awakening. For example, with rhinos. They have the purity and ruthlessness of rhinos. If you don't think like them, they can kill you without blinking. ”
