The study is over

Twisted or knotted sand watch is a metaphor for time limit.

As soon as we thought that we could abandon the uncontrolled consumption of things and goods, a new style of wasting has determined our time. We are afraid of missing something (FOMO Fear Of Missing Out).  We endlessly scroll instagram, following celebrities and influencers. We trustfully subscribe for news which flood us with e-mails which we don't even open. We register for online lectures and meet ups. The trend of endless learning without a specific goal has captured the minds of many. We grab onto various online training courses.

Will we ever apply this knowledge? Why we trust those we have never spoken to in person? What we really obtain in return of our time? 

And do we ask ourselves those questions before jump into the digital universe?

Sometimes it is entertaining. Yet one knows that one moment he will find himself at the point when he can realise:
The study is over. Time to pass the exam.
