I’ve
been studying about trauma for quite a while now. I’ve created a book that
talks about the trajectory up to its redefinition. I’ve researched a lot about
scars. Recently, while talking to a friend, I realized that I what talk about
just scratches the surface of the trauma. This work came from the need that I
felt of diving deep within my trauma, open up the scar and come into contact
with what’s inside. Open it, shred it, poke holes in it and sever it, if
needed. The chosen component talks about the unrelenting search for a cure. It
tells me about something that expands and that allows to be crossed by air.
Trauma is never the same.
