This work is a large object that expresses the sunset of summer in a pictorial way. The sunset has a strong image of red light in the autumn sky, but the color of the sun's surrounding light is yellow and white light is scattered, and it shines strongly. In particular, the sky around summer evenings does not darken quickly, and it has a bright yellow color for a long time and covers the sky like orange, pink, and blue colors. Sunset is distinguished by the different colors of the sunset in the morning and evening, but my colorful intention was to imagine the image of the color reflected by the sunset rather than the vast landscape of the sunset.
The image and color of the sunset often become many artistic motifs for creators. Claude Oscar Monet, who has been an impressionist, was also an artist who painted with natural light, and Matirere, which comes from Monet's view of art, arrangement of colors, and overlapping touches, influenced me in expressing my work.
The form of the work was created by transforming the image of the stump that can be seen in nature, and it was produced by imagining that the stump became a storage box in nature that could contain precious things.
The method of producing the work was to create a voluminous shape with curves using a coiling technique, and the small curved shapes at the bottom of the work were spread out and attached in irregular shapes and sizes.
