This work was in the making for over ten years. The snails covering two metal poles that seem to be uprooted from the ground together with the piece of concrete base, may look ready-made, but in reality it’s quite the opposite. Each of the snails (over 10000) is casted from ceramics, kilned and painted by hand, bringing the unique handwriting to the work, that in a whole represents nature’s ability to rise from concrete covered urban space and reclaim its rights again.
