Statue of Liberty

Statue of Liberty has been created with questions about power in mind. It represents the current decay of certain core values - liberty, health, money, and religion. 

It is made of items obtained in second-hand stores, the main part of the statue is made out of a piece of cast iron and painted gold. The gold bricks are made out of unused bricks. 

A face mask in the left hand is made of paper. The labyrinth held in the right hand represents the mystery of the unknown.

Photos were made in two different sets to emphasize different aspects of the installation. The first one demonstrates the power which symbols have over humanity. The second one highlights the unknown (the labyrinth) and current threats represented by the face mask.
