This work represents the fusion of the disciplines of architecture, industrial design and art. Each piece is as much a realization of an abstract design concept as it is a work of 3-dimensional art.
These abstract concepts emerge in “pure form”, as built objects, without the practical and functional constraints inherent in architecture or industrial design. The forms are intentionally abstract giving shape to a brief moment of design inspiration without subjection to the rigors of practical and formal development required to create a functioning building or product.
The work is rooted in the timeless qualities of proportion, balance, harmony and the relationships of solid and void. Above all, the complete unity of the parts - the “all in each and each in all”. A relentless organizational structure that is the intrinsic foundation(nature) of the work - from the miniature to the monumental.
