When switched on, the party horns extend and the balloons begin to get filled up.
My work is intimately tied to the acquisition and inordinate subversion of objects found in a domestic setting and animating them using rudimentary mechanics. This work is a playful rendition of an ongoing series which places the female body as a point of introspection and subsequent redemption. Appropriating coy humor to depict an undesired sensory response to the female body. While this is a rather playful depiction of the gaze in question, the piece is titled "Size Matters", to absolve the gaze of it's authority, and let it be remarked upon in the same playful intention of the piece.
